Prerequisites:

- Class 1A Learner’s License
- 18 years of age for Canadian operation/21 years of age for USA operation
- Driver's Medical
- Air Brake written exam
- Driver’s Abstract
- Resume of driving experience

Description:

We offer upgrader training of various lengths of 5 to 10 days for people with experience in operation of large vehicles and Class 3A or Class 1A vehicles. Training is in-truck with qualified instructors, two students per truck. In-truck training starts with safety inspections and circle checks every morning and progresses through the day with driving and observation periods. Students receive instruction in the operation of 1A combination vehicles with an emphasis on practical application of skills in order to earn a Saskatchewan Class 1A license. The 10 day program includes training on log book completion and equipment safety.
