Important Safety Notice
As of October 1, 2008 it is mandatory in Saskatchewan that all workers operating forklifts be properly trained.
Saskatchewan Occupational Healthy & Safety Amendments Oct. 1/07 154
2. On or after October 2008, an employer shall ensure that only competent operators are required or permitted to operate forklifts
3. An employer shall ensure that:
(a) Training is provided
(b) A written record of all training delivered to workers is kept readily available

Audiometric Hearing Tests
Did you know that workplaces with ten or more noise exposed employees must implement a written Hearing Conservation Program (HCP)?
If your business or industry requires hearing tests in order to comply with a Hearing Conservation Program, the ETC can provide testing locally.

Fit Test your employees who will or may be required to use self-contained breathing apparatus in the workplace.
FIT Testing appointments will be available at the Energy Training Centre in Kindersley, Swift Current or Macklin in 2008.
