The Growing the Future Scholarship Campaign was launched in February 2007 with a goal of raising $500,000 over 5 years. Money raised through the campaign goes directly to our students to assist them with the cost of pursuing post-secondary education at any of our campuses.

Funds are raised through Board and Staff Donations, fundraising events, and principally through business and individual donors in the Great Plains College Region.

How does your donation help?

• Growing the student scholarship fund will create more opportunities for our young people to get their education without leaving the region
• Retaining our youth for training and employment in the region strengthens our future
• Your donations will be used to fund scholarships for the more than 2000 students we serve each year

Since 2006, Great Plains College has given out more than $350,000 in scholarships. We anticipate that in the 2010-11 academic year alone close to $120,000 will be awarded to deserving and dedicated students.
