Students are introduced to the hands-on skills needed to create and use database management software in the business environment, using Microsoft Access. Students will also create presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, incorporating fonts, graphics, and colours to create slides, overheads, printed documents, and on-screen slide shows. Students then have the opportunity to fully integrate an office suite by working through a comprehensive case project, requiring knowledge of Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
