Various technology enhancements and web-based applications have been added to the program at Great Plains College to enrich the learning experience of students. The "unplugged" approach, using wireless access, will prepare graduates for the emerging technologies and web-based tools they will use as they embark on their careers. Students may also study on a part-time basis.
Some exciting features are: new laptop computers for full-time students to use throughout the program; wireless internet access; on-line access to lectures and assignments; on-line access to study aids, resources and supports; classroom technology enhancements, including the SMART Board interactive whiteboard; web-based resources; web-conferencing.
